Design of a Website-Based Information System for Monitoring Prohibited Items and Random Checks at Radin Inten II Airport Lampung

Abstract

Manual recording of random checks and prohibited items by Aviation Security personnel is considered ineffective due to the risk of data loss, limited accessibility, and slow documentation processes. This study designed a web-based digital system as a solution, using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model. In the analysis phase, interviews were conducted with security personnel to identify system requirements. The system design refers to the theory of fit between task and technology (Goodhue & Thompson, 1995), which emphasizes the importance of alignment between technology and user tasks. The developed system includes features such as user login, inspection data entry, prohibited item logging, and reports in the form of graphs and tables. Testing using the black box method showed that all features functioned properly. The system has proven capable of efficiently, accurately, and accessibly replacing manual logbooks, thereby meeting the need for digital security record-keeping

    Aisyah Winda , born in Sidoarjo on June 26, 2003. The second child of two siblings of Mr. Bambang Sugiarto and Mrs. Nur Elvi Maridatin. Residing in Dsn. Patoman RT 07 RW 02 Ds. Keboharan Kec. Krian Kab. Sidoarjo, East Java. Started his education at Dirgahayu Kindergarten from 2007 to 2009. Then continued his education at SDN SIDODADI II Taman in 2009 and graduated in 2015. Continued his junior high school at SMPN 3 Krian in 2015 and graduated in 2018. Continued his senior high school at SMA Kemala Bhayangkari I Surabaya in 2018 and graduated in 2021. Then in 2022 he was accepted as a cadet at the Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic in the Diploma III Air Transportation Management Study Program, Batch VIII

    Dewi Ratna Sari was born in Padang, on June 9, 1969. She obtained a master's degree in management at the University on August 17 1945. Her research interests are in management, especially business. The author is a management lecturer in all study programs at the Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic, Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia

    Ade Irfansyah was born on November 25, 1980, in Rangkaspitung, and is a civil servant at the Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic. In 2004, he earned a bachelor’s degree in electoral engineering from the National University of Bandung. He also earned a master’s degree in aeronautical and astronautical engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology in 2009. He is currently completing his doctoral program at the State University of Surabaya. He is a lecturer in Air Navigation Engineering under the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic Indonesia.

    was born in Surabaya, Indonesia, in 1987.
