Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

PREPARATION FOR SUBMISSION

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

Please read the information provided below carefully to make the process of submitting articles as simple as possible.

Submission Policy

The manuscript is prepared in Microsoft Word format according to the Manuscript Template.
Manuscripts are submitted via the official OJS portal at https://ojs.journalocean.org/appissode (authors who do not have an account should create one).
Manuscripts are written findings of the author's original study that have never been published or are currently being considered for publication by another publisher. As a result, each author must declare and sign the statement form given.

Policy and Data Availability

The objective of the Appissode Journal is to provide the widest possible dissemination of knowledge based on systematic scholarly inquiries into technology as a field of professional research and educational activity. As part of this process, authors are encouraged to make their data available for use by others in extending or replicating the results reported in their articles. The authors of articles that report data-dependent results should footnote the status of the data’s availability, and, when pertinent, this should be accompanied by information on how the data may be obtained.

Reproduction Policy

The Appissode Journal's goal is to encourage the widest distribution of the findings from methodical academic investigations into the vast field of technology research. Permission is permitted to reprint any of the journal's contents for use in courses of instruction, as long as the source and copyright are stated in any such copies.

A written request must be submitted to the editor-in-chief for permission to reproduce any of the journal's contents for use in anything other than a course of instruction, such as inclusion in books of readings or other wide distribution publications. In order for the journal to give permission in such cases, the applicant must notify the author(s) in writing of the intended use of each reprint. Normally, the journal will not accept a fee for copyright waiver.

The copyright for articles in the journal has been passed to the Appissode Journal, except where otherwise specified in the articles. If the author(s) has not assigned the copyright to the Appissode Journal, the applicant must obtain permission to reproduce (for all purposes) directly from the author(s).

REVIEW PROCESS

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper.

The review steps  are detailed below:

Plagiarism Detection

The submitted manuscript would be checked for plagiarism using Turnitin.

Desk Review Process

Our editorial team reviews each and every manuscript that is submitted. Manuscripts that editors determine are not appropriate according to our guidelines are swiftly rejected without external review.

Peer Review Process and Editorial Decision

Reviews from double-blind reviewers are delivered to manuscripts that are found to be potentially interesting to our readership. Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editors decide one of three options: rejected, require major revision, require minor revision, or accepted.
Appissode Journal's Editor-in-Chief has the authority to decide which manuscripts should be published.
